Dear Friends,

It is now 45 years since we passed out of Guindy in 1962. We have had four reunions since then, 25^th year, 27^th year, 40th year and now the grand 45th year reunion. The last one was attended by 76 friends and most of them brought their wives also. It was a gala event loved by every one. Many of us had not met each other since the college days! Recognizing them was by itself a great fun. The entire CD covering this memorable event is now on this site. Please enjoy the priceless memories.

For the first time, we had a representation from the fair sex amongst our alumni, namely, Ms.Sulochana who eagerly participated in all the programmes of the day, along with her hubby Mr. Subramaniam. We hope this representation will grow from strength to strength and, in due course, we will have the full representation of TWO alumni representing the fair sex in our next Meet in the year 2012.

Shyam Sunder had brought a very attractive banner for the 2012 meet, bearing the words �I WILL BE THERE 2012!� in most of our alumni signed confirming their intention to attend the 2012 Meet.

We wanted to meet at least once in two years from now on; but then the grand parenting duties, the fact that many of our friends are away in USA and other places makes it practically not possible. Fortunately as of now most of us are healthy and are desirous of meeting our old Guindy mates. So we now look forward to our 50^th Reunion in 2012. I urge all of you to make an extra effort to spread this message to all our Guindy 62 classmates and make the planning of this event a great success.
